He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from the Chongqing University in 2003 and 2006, and his doctor's degree in 2009 from the Institute of Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. From 2009 to 2016, he worked in the National Institute of Materials Science in Japan and the University of Strasbourg in France, respectively. He published over 100 papers in high-level journals, including Nat. Commun., Adv. Mater., Nano Lett., ACS Nano, Adv. Funct. Mater., with over 6000 SCI citations and an H index of 34.
